Hiya and welcome to my blog!

I'm Shannon, aged 20 and lover of animals, pastel colours and quotes. I can typically be found watching The Office US, reading or playing with my dog- often simultaneously. I am an undergraduate English Literature and French student currently taking a gap year since my year abroad was cancelled, (cheers COVID). I have therefore created this blog as an outlet for my thoughts and feelings, extending beyond the angst of a house-ridden hermit to reviews and recipes and general merriment. Let's not forget the splash of fitness and fashion- I'm a lady of all trades. You may even witness my first successful French plait, if you (and I) are lucky.

 The shenanigans of shannon is a place of creativity where I share what inspires me and in turn hope to inspire others. We are shaped and fashioned by what we love, and my love is writing. I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy writing it! :)
